After a lengthier break than planned endurance racing is back for the 12 Hours of Sebring, America’s original endurance race! It’s the same deal as with the Rolex 24, but can Porsche do the double once again? And how will Lamborghini’s new Temerario GT3 fare in the hands of Pfaff among others? It’s sure to be a thriller in Florida.

When things went back to green Porsche still led 1-2 with Andlauer’s #7 ahead of Matt Campbell’s #6, with Will Stevens’ #10 Cadillac. With the next round of pit stops Nasr was installed in the #7, and Estre wthe #6 as they continued to run 1-2 throughout the next hour or so. Nick Yelloly climbed to third in the #93, with Fred Vesti’s #31 in fourth.
LMP2
Leading when the field went back to green was the #99 of Johnny Edgar, with Dan Goldburg’s #22 now up to swecond and Tom Dillmann’s #43 Inter Europol fighting back up to third. The #37 of Jon Field spun around at turn 15, slipping to the back of the class. Meanwhile after the next round of pitstops the #11 TDS Racing machine of Charles Milesi was now up to second with the #43 remaining in third with Bijoy Garg now at the wheel.
GTD PRO
Contact between Albert Costa’s #34 Conquest Racing spun round the #13 Corvette into the barriers, which escaped any major damage, while up front Harry King held a slender lead in his #77 ‘Roxy’, ahead of the #14 Lexus and Alexander Sims’ #3 Corvette. A moment of drama found the #48 Winward Mercedes of Luca Stolz, as he lost power through Sunset bend before regaining it shortly after. At the halfway mark it was still the #77 of Nick Tandy heading the class with Thomas Preining’s #911 Porsche running second with Jack Hawksworth’s #14 Lexus in third.

Simon Mann led in the #21 ahead of the #80 Lone Star Mercedes of Lin Hodenius, with Tom Gamble now aboard the #27 Heart of Racing Aston Martin. Before long the class looked very different after the pitstops, with Charlie Eastwood’s DXDT #36 Corvette now leading ahead of Flynt Schurring’s #912 Manthey Porsche, with James Roe now aboard the third placed Lone Star #80 Mercedes.
